Isobel
$45
Isobel is a girl with a broken heart, and a broken vase. Oh she tried to
save the flowers, and she tried to save her grandmothers antique lace table
cloth, but the water was too quick. The water is always too quick.
---
Isobel is named for a very dear friend of mine's very dear doll. Both my
friend, and her Isobel, are victims of Hurricane Katrina. All sales of this
dolling will go to the American Red Cross' hurricane relief.

Isobel is jointed at both her shoulders and
her hips. Her bodice is carefully stained paper with passages from the
Eternal Father, Strong to Save (the navy hymn) delicately printed. Her
skirt is lace as is her sash. Isobel's hair is natural unspun wool. She, of
course, wears tiny black mary-janes.
